Poster- Montage it

These two posters aim to show the techniques to do the montage.
Firstly i hand draw the contour of the model. Then scan it into photoshop.
In photoshop i just overlaped the material picture to my handdrawing and distort the material picture to the pespective that i want. In the same way, i overlapped the background picture to show the context. To make the whole montage seem realer, i use eraser tool and brush tool to add light and shadows on it.

day and night montage

Day montage reflects the activities happening inside the building and the relationship between the inside and outside. With sunlight coming inside, the atmosphere inside is strongly influnced by the outside. This montage just showed one of the way to use the internal space. Beside sitting down to have a drink people also could lie on timbers, read books, chatting with others who can either be in the building or just ouside the building.

In night version montage the model is conceived as a house building on the water. A path towards the house is also created in this montage. The couple are having a dinner outside the house, also appreciating the beautiful secene of the site. The color design of the light in the house has a strong relationship with the site and the path towards the house. What i mostly want to achieve in this montage is to show the life happening with the house. Showing the atmosphere in this montage, i hope people could realize the life style provided by the house and i would be really happy to hear tht some people want to live in it.

Final rendering poster and drawing

The background of the poster is based on the mural beside the entrance of  seidler house. I created the background as a 3d version of the mural. In my opinion the mural could reflect the space relationship inside the house. So in my poster there are five areas with five drawings. Each of the area is on different levels but connect with each other by slope changing.
The color of the axonometric drawing is based on neoplasticism. With each color on only one direction, it is easy for people to read the space inside the house.

two point perspective

rendering test

This is learned from le corbusier. Different types of hatches represent different space with different function.

This is also learned from one architect but i forgot the name. The use of different color is based on the funtion of different rooms.

This kind of rendering gives a sense of light and shadow. Also the depth of room could be realized.

DRAW WEEK 1 draw model

MODEL IT POSTER

With making the model of the pavilion, i learned the spacial stratergy.
And i made a space analysis to define different spaces with the stratergy i learned.
